Another step closer

We got our Visas back via UPS today. The Russian Embassy took 4 days to turn them around.

Mary & Greg,
Thanks so much for sharing your blog with us. I have been watching the CSS Yahoo group and following your progress as much as I could. Glad to hear your 1st trip is just days away now!! 1 piece of advise, take time to really experience Russia, it is very easy to be such a ball of emotion while you are there but then when you get home it seems surreal that you were even there! Your son will appreciate the memories you will tell him about someday. If we could do it over again we would have taken more mental notes,… you know what I mean? Can't wait to hear all about your son! Maybe someday when we visit my family in Newport, TN we can meet up with you and introduce our boys to one another. Tell Katie she has a lot to look forward to…..our 2 girls have loved every minute of being big sisters to their little brother! Best wishes!!

Wow... apparently I'm tired! Lots of typos! Here is what I really meant to say!

Mary and Greg -

We wish you the best of luck on your first trip! Our first trip, while a blur, is such a fond, fond memory! You are in GREAT hands with Svetlana and her crew. It's all about who you know in Russia and they know lots of people! :-) Take lots of notes and more pictures and video then you ever thought you'd need! :-) Best, best wishes!
